I am 72 years old, semi-retired. A Methodist local preacher from the late 50's on, a member at Great Barr Church in Birmingham. Worked in foundries and heat-treatment factories as metallurgical technician, but now concentrating on interests/hobbies such as church activities (see link at left), photography, painting. I also want to gather information and history of South Yorkshire and the Coalfields (as they were, and how they look now, any contributions welcomed), particularly the area from Barnsley  to Pontefract to Doncaster
