This parish used to be in

Wapentake of
Strafforth and Tickhill(lower division),
in the West Riding of
Yorkshire until around the year 1900, when
wapentakes were discontinued. The parish included Bilham, Bilham Row, Moorhouse, and Stotfold (one house). (See the
